Man kicked in the head after falling from his horse

A HELICOPTER has been tasked to Ironpot after a man in his 50s was kicked in the head after falling from his horse this afternoon.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the crew responded to a call on Piper Dodge Mountain Rd shortly after 1pm today.

The spokeswoman said crews landed at the property about 2.45pm and were still on scene to help the man.

His condition is unknown.
