Man killed after getting trapped under truck trailer

A MAN has been killed after he was crushed by a truck trailer on the side of the Warrego Hwy on the western Darling Downs.

The 43-year-old Injune man was preparing to attach a trailer to a prime mover when the vehicle moved, trapping him under the trailer.

The incident occurred on the Warrego Hwy, 5km west of Roma about 5.15pm yesterday.

The man was transported to Roma Hospital where died from the injuries he sustained.

The Forensic Crash Unit and Workplace Health and Safety will investigate the incident..
