Man killed at Moranbah quarry

A 21-YEAR-OLD Biggenden man died in a conveyor belt accident at the South Moranbah Quarry on Tuesday night.

Emergency services were called to the quarry, 18kms south of Moranbah, just after 7pm.

Workplace Heath and Safety are investigating the incident.

A Department of Community Safety spokesman said no one else was injured in the accident.
