Man on the run hides in storm drain

A MAN was arrested after he hid in a storm drain in an attempt to flee from police.

The 22-year-old Murgon man was spotted by police officers at around 2pm on Sunday November 25.

The officers from the Moreton District Tactical Crime Squad located the man near the Bjelke Petersen Dam, before he attempted to flee from police.

He was located a short time later hiding in a storm drain.

He was arrested for breaching his bail conditions and obstructing police and will face the Murgon Magistrates Court on December 18.
