Man suffers 'significant' leg injury after quad bike crash

A QUAD bike rollover on a private property has left a man in hospital with a serious leg injury.

Paramedics were called to the Forestry Rd property near Adare in the Lockyer Valley about 6.05pm yesterday with reports the bike had rolled.

The man, aged in his 50s, was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

Paramedics reported he had suffered a "significant leg injury".

It is the second quad bike incident reported in the region this week after a Western Downs man suffered rib injuries in a crash on Tuesday.

The man had been riding a quad bike on a private property off Tullagrie Rd near Tara when it crashed about 1.15pm.

He was taken to Tara Hospital for treatment of rib injuries.
