Man to face court after allegedly lying to police

ON FRIDAY afternoon police from the Kingaroy road policing unit intercepted a 42-year-old Aratula man travelling south on the Bunya Highway, Kingaroy.

When asked to provide his name, he allegedly gave his boss's name but later admitted he had lied.

Checks revealed he was also disqualified from driving.

He was issued with a notice to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on January 21, 2019, for contravening a police requirement and disqualified driving.
