Coffs Harbour man charged with Port Macquarie murder

A COFFS Harbour man will front court this morning  over the murder of Port Macquarie father Peter Martyn.

A full-scale search had been under way for the 33-year-old since Friday.

He was arrested at Toormina yesterday and taken to the Coffs Harbour police station where he was last night charged with murder and breaching parole.

A crime scene was also established at a home at Boambee East.

Police will allege the man stabbed Mr Martyn, who was discovered lying in a pool of blood at Flynns Beach on New Years Eve.
