Meet HIT FM at Harvey Norman's birthday party

FOR people who love celebrating good deals, you're going to want to visit Harvey Norman Computers.

As Harvey Norman's 10th birthday approaches, not only will they be giving away prizes from April 6 to 15, they're also going to be holding a party for all to join in with.

Harvey Norman Computers proprietor Brendan Young said that you won't want to miss the party, held on Saturday, April 13.

"To start off the sale, we're going to have Crow FM here on April 6, but our main party will be on April 13,” he said.

"We'll have HIT FM here on that day, a jumping castle and sausage sizzle,

Mr Young said that HIT FM would be at the store that day, while Harvey Norman fills up the parking lot with a jumping castle and sausage sizzle.

"It's kind of our biggest day of the sale, and that's also when we'll be giving away our main TV prize,” he said.

"We're hoping to get either Hamish or Paris here for the event, so it'll be pretty cool. They'll be here in the morning giving away stuff, while the parents can shop, and the kids can enjoy the jumping castle.”

The event will run from 9am-4pm.

"It will be the biggest day, and our main birthday party, but we know that not everyone gets Saturdays off of work and not everyone can get in on that day,” he said.

"Because of this, we thought 10 days of a sale would be good to celebrate 10 years of being open, and that way everyone gets a chance to come into the store.”

While they lead up to the event, details of the sale will be released as time goes on.

"We have a lot going on in the newspaper in the lead up to the sale, there will be a lot of advertising on the radio too. It's a 'watch this space' kind of feel, so we want people to keep their eyes and ears open,” Mr Young said.
