Meet South Burnett's cutest baby as voted by you
WITH a cheeky smile and big blue eyes Adley Young has earned the title of South Burnett's cutest baby as voted by South Burnett Times readers.
In three months she has made a big impression on her mum, Kiarni, and is adored with kisses by her older brother, 16-month-old Rylan.
"You don't understand how much you can love something until you have a baby and as soon as they placed the baby on me my world changed," Kairni said.
"It has been amazing. Rylan changed my life and she has made it 10 times better because I thought it would be hard having a girl but it has been really fun with dressing her up.
"I changed from the person who didn't want kids to someone who loves babies and kids."
While she is only young Adley has had her challenges which were overcome when she was diagnosed with a dairy and soy allergy.
"She was projectile vomiting every feed, a lot of liquid for such a little person," she said.
"She changed instantly, settled down completely and was like a different baby, it was such a relief."
A former employee at the Wondai hospital, Kiarni is grateful she has the chance to be a full-time mum.
"It is nice to watch them grow and see every little milestone and step," she said.
Her biggest advice to expecting and new mums is to try and be relaxed.
"Especially, when you are a first time mum when you stress it makes everything harder," she said.
"Try and be comfortable and relaxed and enjoy when they are little because they grow so fast."
