Million Paws Walk to raise money for RSPCA

SOUTH Burnett dog owners will take part in the RSPCA's 21st Million Paws Walk to show their support and raise money for animals in need.

The walk in Kingaroy will be held this Sunday.

Kingaroy RSPCA shelter manager Sally Charles said anyone could get involved, even if they didn't have a furry friend to take along.

This year's 4km walk in Kingaroy will start at the Kingaroy Memorial Park and go up Haly St, Windsor Circle and through to Alford St.

The RSPCA will also run $25 micro-chipping and health checks on the day, and award prizes for best handlers and best-dressed dogs.

You can register online or from 8am on Sunday.

The walk starts at 9am at Memorial Park.

For more information about the Million Paws Walk, phone Kirsty Minter 0415 385 614.
