
Mobile reception blackspots nominated for program
TWO priority locations in the South Burnett will be nominated under the next round of the Federal Government's Mobile Blackspot Program.
South Burnett Regional Council will nominate Mount Mowbullun, at the Bunya Mountains, and Boondooma, in round four of the program which targets areas of poor mobile phone reception.
These were identified as priorities under the national database of reported blackspot locations.
South Burnett Regional Council is also supporting a joint application, with the Western Downs Regional Council, to nominated the Coopers Gap Wind Farm site.
The council has provided a letter of support for the wind farm application.
