Motorcyclist caught driving 40km/hr over limit

KINGAROY police have caught a motorcyclist driving more than 40kmh over the speed limit.

The man was photographed travelling at 101kmh in a 60km zone on Youngman St, Kingaroy on Friday afternoon.

He will receive a $1177 fine and lose eight demerit points from his licence.

Officers also charged a Proston man for driving while disqualified on Bushcamp Rd, Okeden on Saturday following the Boondooma Dam Fishing Competition.

The man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on March 20.
