Motorcyclist dies in single vehicle accident at Nanango
A MOTORCYCLIST has died following an accident in Nanango this morning near Nanango Tank Makers.
Kyle Robinson, 29 was travelling towards Nanango town on the D'Aguilar Hwy when his bike left the road and crashed into a sign and potted plant.
The force of the impact caused the motorcycle to plough through a fence before coming to rest just short of a row of sheds in a neighbouring property.
Police are still investigating but Nanango police Sergeant Jason Newton said it appeared the motorcycle left the road at 9.15 am.
"The man was taken to Nanango Hospital but despite the efforts of medical staff he has died from his wounds," Sgt Newton said.
Police are investigating if speed was a contributing factor.
