Motorcyclist dies in collision at Tabulam

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after being involved in a collision with an oncoming vehicle near Tabulam yesterday afternoon.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Paddy's Flat Rd, about 35km north of the Bruxner Highway, at 11am.

A NSW Police Media spokeswoman said it appeared the motorcycle was travelling south towards Tabulam when it crashed into a Toyota Landcruiser travelling in the opposite direction.

Assistance was rendered by the occupants of the Toyota Landcruiser, and other passers by, and emergency services were notified.

Unfortunately the motorcyclist, a man believed to aged in his mid-40s, died at the scene.

Crash scene investigators attended the scene and police will be preparing a brief for the coroner.
