Mrs G celebrates 25 years as a kindergarten teacher aid
DIANE Gscheidle (Mrs G) has spent her working life shaping children's lives.
The kindy assistant at C&K Community Kindergarten Murgon has been a friendly face for students for the past 25 years - and is only the second teacher aide the kindy has had.
Diane started the job when her youngest child finished kindergarten after enjoying time spent helping out in the family day care.
"It's the kids (that I love) and its great working with the staff and teachers," Diane said.
"I've always loved being with kids."
Diane's own three children all went through the kindy.
The ladies of the kindy came together for its fifth Annual Ladies Luncheon at the weekend.
Kindy director Amanda Dennien said the kindy would celebrate its 35 year anniversary later in the year.
"Celebrating 35 years is not very long in the history of Australia but we love to celebrate anything we can," Amanda said.
She said the kindy had just had an assessment by the Australian Government.
"Our quality framework is exceeding," she said.
More than 100 raffle prizes were given out, all donated by Murgon businesses.
