Woman with possible spinal injuries after crash

UPDATE: A WOMAN has been taken to the PA Hospital with possible spinal injuries, following a crash on the Ipswich Mwy this morning.

Police say the woman's ute collided with a truck on the west-bound lanes at Riverview about 10.15am.

The 34-year-old female complained of numbness on one side of her body after the crash.

The truck driver was not injured.

The scene of the crash is now clear and traffic is flowing.

 

EARLIER: POLICE have been called to crashes on the Ipswich Motorway and on Redbank Plains Rd this morning.

There are reports of a two-vehicle smash on the west-bound lanes of the Motorway at Riverview.

Police say traffic is already slow through the area.

Meanwhile, Redbank Plains Rd commuters are being affected by a crash in the area this morning.

One woman is being treated for numbness in one side of her body.

There are no reports of serious injury at this stage.
