Murgon bank makes significant community donation
COMMONWEALTH Bank Murgon branch employees have donated $500 to the St Joseph’s Auxiliary as part of a nationwide community donation program.
The Commonwealth Bank have run this community donation program because they want to drive positive change within their communities to make a difference locally and for all Australians.
Over the next few months, Commonwealth Bank has again pledged to donate $500,000 nationally to recognise organisations that make a difference in the communities in which we live and work.
Each Commonwealth Bank branch and customer-facing team has been allocated $500 to donate to causes important to their local community.
Commonwealth Bank’s Murgon branch team voted to support the great work of the St Joseph’s Auxiliary.
Jen McDonald Commonwealth Bank Murgon Manager said she was supportive of the community donation program.
“With the festive season approaching, it’s a timely opportunity for us to show our support for these lovely ladies,” she said.
“The St Joseph’s Auxiliary and the Catholic Ladies Group provide support for parents and carers with specials needs and have been doing so for over 35 years.
“It’s great to be able to give back and support this work.”
