Murgon musters up big crowds for music festival
MURGON came alive last week as close to 300 vans and their passengers enjoyed a week of top country music at the 2018 Murgon Music Muster.
Saturday night was so big organisers sent out a request for a further 150 chairs to accommodate the massive crowd.
Golden guitar winner Adam Harvey headlined a sea of Australia's most talented country artists and the 1000+ strong crowd were not disappointed.
Event chairman Heath Sander said he was very proud of everyone who offered their time to make sure one of the South Burnett's biggest events was a success.
"All the Rotary members and their friends and partners as well as the PCYC and the Sports Association have all been so helpful,” he said.
Not one to rest on past successes, Mr Sander said he was already well into planning next year's event.
"Next year we have already locked in some huge names like Tania Kernaghan and Tracy Coster,” he said.
