Nanango man crushed by water tank

A NANANGO man has been crushed after a water tank fell on him on his rural property this morning.

The man was airlifted with suspected spinal injuries after he was pinned to the ground by the 300-500kg water tank.

The accident occurred before 9am when a large water tank was delivered to the property and being unloaded.

It rolled down the ramp of the truck and into the man, pinning him to the ground.

He was helped free by other workers on the property.

The RACQ CareFlight helicopter landed nearby with a critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic who treated and stabilised the man before airlifting him to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
