Nanango man in court after RSL incident

A MAN will face court and it is anticipated more people will be charged after a large disturbance at the Nanango RSL on the weekend.

Police have inspected the CCTV footage from the night of Saturday, February 16 and a 59-year-old Nanango man has been charged after the alleged disturbance.

It is alleged the offending parties left before police arrived and investigations into this matter have commenced.

The man was charged with creating a disturbance in a licensed premises and is due to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on March 18.

It is anticipated more people will be charged in relation to this matter.
