Nanango Soccer club thankful for support

SOCCER: THE Nanango Soccer Club recently took delivery of a brand new gazebo to use as a first aid tent at our home games at the sporting fields. This was yet another proud sponsorship from Heritage Bank, Nanango who have sponsored the club on many occasions.

The gazebo will not only be used for our home games but also for our many activity days that are held throughout the year.

The Nanango Soccer Club would like to take this opportunity to public thank Heritage once again for their generous sponsorship, it is very much appreciated by our members.

We have had a good year so far with approximately 100 junior players signed on and around 25 seniors.

The club is still doing sign-ons so if you have a youngster wanting a piece of the action with soccer, come on down on Thursday afternoons at 4pm, we'd love to see you. Also, if there are any young lads over 15 who would like to join up for the senior team, we'd be happy to see you too.

Throughout the year the committee have organised movie nights which have been well attended and enjoyed by all, with more to come after winter. The mini-roos had a great season and finished with a break-up with a jumping castle and face painting. They had a fabulous time and were very happy to receive their medallion and photo at the presentation. Our committee are doing a great job keeping the club going with only a few volunteers.
