Nearly naked and wandering streets in Nanango

POLICE were called to a single vehicle traffic crash after a motorist saw a man walking along the D'Aguilar Hwy in just his underwear

On Monday night about 9pm, when the man was seen wandering the roads nearly naked, a concerned motorist called police to the scene.

The 65-year-old male told police he crashed his car on Hodgeleigh Rd, Nanango, and started walking in a pursuit of finding help.

When police were taken to the crash sight, they found the man had walked a fair distance.

"About 1km from the D'Aguilar intersection where he was located," police said.

When police breath tested the man, he allegedly blew 0.12, more than double the legal limit.

The 65-year-old Nanango man told police he crashed after swerving to avoid a kangaroo and going off the road.

In an attempt to negotiate the road again, police said the man became disorientated.

"He went back on the road, became disorientated and has driven into a barbed wire fence," police said.
