New cop welcomed by young Adopt-a-Cop supporters

KINGAROY police's latest recruit has been adopted by some of the town's youngest crime prevention supporters.

Constable Julian Pascoe was adopted by the Kingaroy Early Learning Centre in King St this week

Centre director Kerryn Biggs was pleased to have Const Pascoe as the early learning centre's Adopt-a-Cop.

Adopt-a-Cop is a program designed to build positive relationships between police and members of the school community through the appointment of the Adopt-a-Cops to schools and other relevant organisations.

Const Pascoe started his first day at the Kingaroy station on Wednesday, November 2, after six months of training at the Oxley Police Academy.
