New Lion's debut on hold after copping ban
AFL: Jack Frost's official Brisbane debut will have to wait until at least round two after copping a ban.
The one-time Collingwood defender was reported for a sling tackle during Sunday's trial against the Suns.
The match review panel deemed the action as careless conduct with medium impact to the head, which attracts a two-match ban. However, the 24-year-old will miss just the one game after entering an early guilty plea.
Frost was the only player faced with a suspension, with Hawthorn pair Liam Shiels and Kade Stewart, North Melbourne's Jarrad Waite and West Coast's Will Schofield all accepting fines.
