LAMB ST will be glowing with the lights of more than a dozen rides and attractions the Murgon Business Association have hired for the evening.

All the fan favourites will be there, including Gravitron, the Superslide and the Avalanche.

This year will feature two new additions to the list.

For those who love an adrenalin rush should try the Drop Zone.

Strap yourself into this tower before it draws you up to a height of about four storeys.

Riders are then dropped to the ground in an exhilarating rush.

Fair organiser Paul Pratt said it was not for the faint of heart.

"It's like the giant drop at Dreamworld," Mr Pratt said.

The second new attraction is a lazer skirmish field sitrunf inside an inflatable maze.

Running around inside the maze is sure to get hearts racing.

"The kids can get inside with laser guns," Mr Pratt said.

The organisers are always looking for ways to improve the festival and new rides are always welcome.

"They make the fair a little bit different and fill it up a little bit more," Mr Pratt said.
