New touch committee ready for 2019 season

KINGAROY touch will be turning the page to an exciting new chapter for the 2019 season.

The new committee was elected during the annual general meeting held on Tuesday, December 11.

New president Jenny Whyte is excited about the new executive team and is looking forward to them working together.

"On the back of this year's record season, I am just hoping it is going to be bigger and better next year,” she said.

"We are looking forward to a huge season so players get more out of it.”

Whyte said the committee was on the same page and eager for a big season.

"They all want to see the club grow, especially for the kids,” she said.

"A lot of the committee members have kids in the junior competition.”

The 2019 Kingaroy touch football competition kicks off early next year.

"First Monday back at school next year is sign-on day,” Whyte said.
