North Burnett TV reception issues

NORTH Burnett Regional Council has investigated TV reception issues in the region since the national retune in recent months.

Mayor Don Waugh said although TV reception was not the council's core business, council would assist in providing reception where possible, "due to a history of unresolved issues and at the request of the community".

The council has provided information on key problem areas, as follows:

Eidsvold Area

Council has investigated the Eidsvold Transmission Tower and found that on Saturday, December 13, the Channel Seven antenna sustained damage causing the surrounding area to lose Channel 7 reception. Council wish to advise that a Technician was on site to repair damages yesterday.

Apart from Channel Seven the Transmission Tower has no known faults. Other possible faults could include faulty antennae's and cabling, which should be checked by a qualified electrician/technician.

Monto Area

Council has investigated and there are currently ongoing issues with the Bancroft/Bukali transmission tower. Council requests that affected residents please contact Council on 1300 696 272 to lodge a Service Request.

Residents are asked to provide the following information: name, address and contact number, the channels you are having issues with and when the issues occurred.

Other possible faults could include faulty antennae's and cabling, which should be checked by a qualified electrician/technician.

Mundubbera Area
