NORTH West is "adjusting great" to having a little brother.
The toddler's parents Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed son Saint into the world last weekend but are taking steps to lavish their little girl with attention so she doesn't feel left out.
A source said: "[North is] really excited to be a big sister.
"They know it can take a little bit for a child to adjust. [North] is by Kim's side every day and daddy's little girl, so she seems to be adjusting great."
According to the insider, little Saint is a "very happy baby" and looks a lot like his sister and mother Kim.
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star is feeling very thankful to have such a supportive spouse and she and the 38-year-old rapper are very hands-on with their new arrival.
The source told E! News: "The whole family is in great spirits as they welcome their new member of the family.
"Kanye has been by Kim's side through this whole pregnancy. He is really the best dad and husband.
"Kim and Kanye are very hands on with the baby and want to be involved in the little things as much as possible. They take turns waking up and tending to the baby's needs. It's a lot of work, but they just feel very blessed for having a healthy baby boy."
Kim, 35, was forced to deliver her son on December 5 - almost three weeks before her due date on Christmas Day - after she reportedly suffered from placenta accreta, which means the placenta remains attached to the womb.
However, despite the difficult labour, baby Saint was born weighing a healthy 8 pound 1 ounce.
