NRL agent pleaded not guilty to manslaughter
THE NRL agent charged with manslaughter over the death of a former Kingaroy jockey has pleaded not guilty in the Brisbane Supreme Court today.
Paul Bruce Sutton, a Sydney-based player manager was charged with manslaughter over the death of Shaun Miles on May 24, 2013 at Kingaroy.
It is alleged he knocked Mr Miles unconscious in a fist fight at a Kingaroy pub.
Sutton is believed to have been staying in Kingaroy to watch the Queensland Open Schoolboy Rugby League carnival.
