A POLICE officer from the State Crime Command has been stood down pending an investigation into alleged misconduct.

The 35-year-old senior constable is facing accusations of an inappropriate relationship with a female complainant.

The Queensland Police Service says the officer's suspension does not mean the accusations have been substantiated.
