On a mission to raise funds for cure

TAMLAN Tasker is hitting the streets of Kingaroy to make a difference for people affected by cancer.

Come March, he will be one of many South Burnett residents taking part in the annual World's Greatest Shave.

Tamlan is aiming to raise $350 for the Leukaemia Foundation.

It is the first time Tamlan is taking part in the event and he said he was looking forward to making a difference.

"I have had cousins with leukaemia and my best friend at school had it,” he said.

"It will be different and I will be a lot cooler without it. I will probably miss it but I am donating my hair as well.”
