ON THE GREEN: Veteran Golf Club results

GOLF: The South Burnett Veteran Golf Club tournament in Kingaroy reaped some impressive results on May 7.

Single stableford men's winner Graham Littleton with 40 points was closely followed by runner-up Time Sullivan with 38.

They were followed by Mark Hooley (37), Ken Christensen (37), David Wicks (36), Chris Callaghan (36), Gary Kassulke (36), Gary Carter (36), David Cass (36), Rob Dugdell (36), Cath Catchpole (35), Mel Derby (35), Ray Murray (35) and Peter Mohyluk (35).

The ladies' title was claimed by Ann Cass with a score of 35 and runner-up was Margo Howard only one point behind, followed by Sue Brendon (33), Arlene Bartlett (32), Roslyn Weathers (32), Joy Coy (31) and Jean Burey Porter (31).

Ladies' pin shot 9 winner was Berryl Miller and 14 was Anne Cass. They were joined by men's pin shot champions Ken Christensen on 9 and Peter Hegarty 14.

James Wright with 22 stableford points was the winner of the NAGA mug.

The next game will be at Blackbutt Golf Club with names in by 8.45am for a 9.30am start on May 14.
