On the South Burnett sporting fields this weekend

WHAT'S ON: Junior rugby league players will return to the field this weekend.

Kingaroy juniors will travel to Wondai to take on the Wolves with the first games of the day starting at 9am.

It is set to be a big day of footy in Wondai with the senior team taking on the Murgon Mustangs at 1pm.

It will then be the women's turn to take the field with Noosa playing Kawana at 2.30pm and the South Burnett women's side playing host to Nambour at 3.45pm.

Cherbourg will host Central Burnett junior teams from 10am before the A-grade team take on the Nanango Stags at 1pm.

The teams last met in round two when the Stags defeated Cherbourg 30 points to 12 in Murgon.

In Murgon the Mustangs will play host to the Nanango junior teams from under-6 through to U16s with games starting at 8.30am.

Junior soccer will continue in Kingaroy on Saturday with games starting at 8am.

In the senior competition Barambah will take on Nanango and it will be a battle of Kingaroy when the Wests will play the Gunners.

South Burnett United will travel to Gatton to take on the Redbacks in the Toowoomba Football championship league.

The teams last met on Sunday, May 20, when South Burnett won by seven goals and they will be looking continue their strong form coming off the back of winning the Premier's Cup last week.
