One person hospitalised after IGA brawl

AN AFTERNOON brawl outside an IGA supermarket at the weekend led to one person being hospitalised.

A Queensland Police Media spokesman said three to four people were involved in the incident on Fitzroy St, outside the Nanango SUPA IGA supermarket.

Police arrived at 3.15pm on Sunday, after receiving a phone call about the street disturbance.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman advised paramedics arrived at the scene about 3.20pm and transported one person to Nanango Hospital.

She said they had sustained facial injuries, but were in a stable condition.

Police advised they were making follow-up inquiries regarding the matter.
