Optus users experience service interruptions

OPTUS users in the Kingaroy area may experience service interruptions today.

The company is currently working on some planned works on the two nearby mobile towers.

The works are required to upgrade the towers so South Burnett customers will have access to superfast 4G.

Optus said services, including voice, text, internet and email, may be affected by these works.

"There may be some service interruptions but we'll try to keep this to a minimum," they said.

"We apologise for any inconvenience."

Optus customers may experience interruptions during this week as the works are scheduled to be completed between Sunday, February 24, and Saturday, March 2.
