Our most (and least) stressful jobs revealed
AFFECTING about one quarter of the population, stress is the most common mental health issue in Australia according to recent research.
In recognition of Mental Health Week, Roy Morgan Research conducted a study investigating how a person's profession related to their stress level.
The data showed sales supports workers were the most stressed employees with more than half experiencing stress in the 12 months to June 2014.
Hospitality workers, legal, social and welfare professionals also proved to be high-stress careers.
The least stressful jobs according to the survey were skilled animal and horticultural workers, clerical and office support workers and storepersons.
