POLICE are investigating after two young females were charged for using a credit card they allegedly stole.

A 16-year-old girl and her 20-year-old alleged co-offender have both been charged with burglary and 13 counts of fraud.

Kingaroy Police officer in charge Senior Sergeant Duane Frank alleged the two young women entered a Kingaroy residence unlawfully where they stole a wallet, which contained a credit card.

Snr Sgt Frank said they allegedly made 13 transactions via paywave at various stores and businesses, buying electrical items, clothing and jewellery.

The transactions totalled $673.10.

The girl was apprehended in the Kingaroy CBD on Wednesday.

Snr Sgt Frank said police executed a search warrant at a residence in Campbell St where they found the 20-year-old alleged co-offender.

While at the Campbell St house, Snr Sgt Frank said police also found a wanted man "who attempted to flee out of a rear window of the house".

The 37-year-old Kingaroy man, who was wanted on an outstanding return to prison warrant, was apprehended by police.

The two females and the man were all known to each other.
