Scientist shoots at himself

Physicist proves point in most horrifying way

Physicist proves point in most horrifying way

Well, it's one way to prove a point.

Physicist Andreas Wahl set out to show bullets travel at a much slower speed underwater by allowing a submerged gun to be fired directly at him.

The video demonstrates that water creates higher resistance because water molecules are much closer together than air molecules.

After the bullet is fired, it rapidly drops into a complete nosedive. Although Wahl is certifiably correct in his assertion, he still breaths a massive sigh of relief and yells "yes!".

One astute viewer asked "so how come in black ops 3 we can kill people in water with our guns!????"

We'll leave that to the scientists.
