Pin-up glamour model shoots on location

THE High Altitude Hotrod Show and Shine was more than a place for revving engines and polished hoods, with a pin-up shoot staged to make the most of the vintage machines.

Scarlett Noir Photography's Shelley Lester packed her lenses and headed to the Sunday event with Miss Diamond Divine, Toowoomba's Melanie Lovell, to take glamour shots with the stylish motors on site.

Mrs Lester said while she had taken social photos at last year's Carnival of Flowers, this was her first staged photo shoot outside of her home studio, where Mrs Lester has been creating pin-up styled shoots for plus-sized models.

"We've worked together for about a year and a half and she's done all kinds of promo modelling, I love working with her," she said.

"It's been such a busy year so far with Valentine's Day shoots, when the house is set up in about two weeks I'll start looking for winter themed shoots."

With the help of a few wardrobe changes, the pair created a photo shoot to remember at the event, even roping in the double-bass player from band The Rock Steady to join in.

Mrs Lester said with a recent move to a 1960s-era house with a bigger studio, she was looking forward to more shoots throughout the year.

Expect to see Scarlett Noir Photography with Mrs Lovell in toe around the region, as the pair continues to work on promotional shoots.
