Play School star coming to town

WELL-known children's entertainer Jay Laga'aia is coming to Kingaroy to teach kids about the importance of kindy in a free concert.

The Play School and Star Wars star is the Queensland Government ambassador for kindergarten.

The Say G'Day to Jay Kindy Concerts is a series of performances featuring singing and dancing.

The concerts share the benefits and fun of kindergarten with children and parents and are organised by the Department of Education and Training.

The Kindy Counts Campaign is an outcome of the National Partnership Agreement on Universal Access to Early Childhood Education, a partnership between Queensland and Australian governments.

The show will be at Kingaroy Town Hall on Tuesday at 11am. Tickets are free but need to be booked. Phone 1800 454 639 or visit the website.
