Police arrest man over Milne Bay teen girl sex assault

BREAKING: Police have arrested and charged a man over the sexual assault of two teenage girls at Milne Bay Aquatic Centre.

A 38-year-old Southbrook man was taken into custody this afternoon.

He has been charged with five counts of sexual assault relating to an incident at the Toowoomba aquatic centre on Saturday.

It is alleged he repeatedly inappropriately touched two girls, aged 14 and 15, in the centre's outdoor pool.

He will appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on January 18.
