Police investigate Nanango IGA burglary

POLICE have appealed for assistance in regards to a burglary at the Nanango IGA.

Kingaroy CIB Detective Senior Constable John Flanagan said the supermarket was broken into on March 13 at about 1.10am.

"(It) was broken into and a large quantity of tobacco products were stolen,” Snr Const Flanagan said.

"Entry was gained by breaking the front glass sliding doors.

"The offence details were similar in nature to a previous break and enter at the same business on January 23 where tobacco was also stolen.  

"Police are seeking information from the public to assist the investigation.”

Snr Const Flanagan asked anyone with information to contact their local Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
