Police investigate rock throwing at Cherbourg

A CAR and a business have sustained serious damage after two separate rock throwing incidents in Cherbourg at the beginning of the year.

Police officers are investigating after unknown offenders threw rocks at the windscreen of a car parked on Bligh St, sometime between 1pm and 5pm on January 2.

The other incident, which occurred at approximately 4am on January 2, involved three juveniles throwing rocks at a business on Fisher St, damaging glass panels on the front door.

Police are continuing to investigate.
