Police search uncovers drugs, knuckleduster

DRUGS and a knuckleduster were amongst the discoveries uncovered during a police search in Kingaroy last week.

At 9.30am last Thursday, police executed a search warrant at a home on Victoria St where they allegedly found marijuana, methyamphetamine, drug utensils and a knuckleduster.

As a result, a 29-year-old Kingaroy man was charged with possessing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils, possessing property suspected of having being used in connection with drug use, and unlawful possession of weapons. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 1.

A 30-year-old Kingaroy woman will also appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 1, charged with possessing dangerous drugs.

In a separate case, police pulled over an 18-year-old Kingaroy man on King St at 1.25am on Sunday.

A police search found the man allegedly had marijuana seeds in his backpack.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 1, and has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs.
