Police searching for missing 13-year-old girl

POLICE are appealing for further public assistance to help locate a girl reported missing from Townsville earlier this week.

The 13-year-old was last seen at a Landsborough St address in North Ward on February 19.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 170 cm tall and of slim build, with dark brown hair and wears pink glasses.

The girl has not made contact with family since, and police are concerned for her welfare.

Police believe she may be travelling in the company of an older man in a white 1992 Holden Commodore Sedan with Queensland registration 086SWF.

She may also be in the Cairns or Bundaberg areas.

Anyone who may have seen her is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
