Police to patrol rail trail on mountain bikes

QUEENSLAND Police officers are now patrolling the Kingaroy to Kilkivan Rail Trail.

Senior Constable Deb Wruck from Gympie said regular police mountain bike patrols would become a familiar site for the locals and visitors wishing to use the trail.

"This is another great recreational activity in our community for everyone to use, in particular encouraging families to get out there and get active,” Const Wruck said.
