Popping the cork on Wine and Food in the Park
GLASSES are polished and awaiting drops from some of the finest wineries across the South Burnett.
The 17th annual Wine and Food in the Park Festival, originally an event to showcase locally produced wine and food, has now grown into a day long festival featuring some of the regions best entertainment.
Event organisers urged people to take the opportunity to catch up with friends, listen to music and enjoy the atmosphere.
Weather is expected to be warm and dry, perfect to soak up some of the South Burnett's lovely autumn sun.
This year's festival will feature produce from eight wineries across the South Burnett region and beyond.
But for those with other drink preferences, there will be a craft beer tent and more.
The festival will also entertain with eight hours of live music from some of Australia's top music acts.
Locally produced food will also be available from 21 different food stalls.
Head to Kingaroy's Memorial Park on tomorrow, March 12, from noon-8pm to celebrate all the South Burnett has to offer.
The event will cost $20 for adults, and is free for people under 18.
