Pulse Health 'considering future' of private hospital

PULSE Health has announced it is still considering the future of  South Burnett Private Hospital.

Pulse Health CEO Phillipa Blakey said today the company will be meeting with staff, doctors and other stakeholders within the next two weeks for discussions.

She said the hospital has been running on a loss and has been struggling for some time to improve profitability.

"Pulse has been working closely and confidentially with the South Burnett Regional Council which owns the hospital to find ways to improve its financial performance," Ms Blakey said.
