QLD SHOOTING: Police hunt gunman after man shot

A GUNMAN who shot a man in the leg after an argument is being hunted by police this morning.

The 27-year-old man suffered the serious injury this morning with reports suggesting "a number of people" arrived at his home in Brisbane's Woolloongabba.

The shot was fired after a heated argument.

"We have a man in hospital who is very lucky to be alive," Inspector Steve Flori told Nine News.

Insp Flori described it as a targeted shooting.

Police are now calling for anyone with information to contact authorities.
