Woman sustains injuries in quad bike rollover east of Roma

A WOMAN in her 30s has sustained possible internal injuries after her quad bike rolled on her east of Roma yesterday.

The rider was part of a group mustering cattle at a property when the accident occurred. The heavy bike landed on top of her.

Paramedics from Miles were on scene and stabilised the woman before the Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service helicopter was tasked to the property just before noon.

The RACQ CareFlight doctor on board helped treat the woman before she was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
